報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介：

郭玉勁，教授，博士生導(dǎo)師，華中師范大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)與統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)，國(guó)家杰出青年基金及優(yōu)秀青年基金獲得者、中國(guó)科學(xué)院“百人計(jì)劃”（優(yōu)秀）入選者。主要研究非線(xiàn)性泛函分析中的變分理論及其在非線(xiàn)性偏微分方程、數(shù)學(xué)物理等領(lǐng)域的應(yīng)用，先后在微機(jī)電系統(tǒng)MEMS方程、質(zhì)量臨界約束變分理論、量子多體系統(tǒng)分析等方面做出過(guò)一系列原創(chuàng)性科研成果。在美國(guó)數(shù)學(xué)會(huì)出版一部英文研究專(zhuān)著【Courant Lecture Notes in Math. 20】，在Comm. Pure Appl. Math.、Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.、Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.、J. Math. Pures Appl.、Ann. Inst. H. Poincaré Anal. Non Linéaire、Proc. Royal Soc. London Ser. A、SIAM J. Math. Anal.、Nonlinearity、J. Funct. Anal.、JDE、CVPDE等數(shù)學(xué)期刊上發(fā)表50余篇學(xué)術(shù)論文。

報(bào)告摘要：

In this talk, we discuss ground states of Thomas-Fermi-Dirac-von Weizsacker theory with the Coulomb potential. We focus on the uniqueness and multiplicity of ground states in the large exchange energy limit. This is joint work with Bin Chen and Shu Zhang.
